A cafe & custom cake shop in Seogwipo, where Seogwipean began
In 2018, Seogwipean began in one small cafe in Seogwipo. Today it is a place that makes made-to-order cakes for the occasions of everyday life.
We reopened in October 2022 after a renovation. It is where you pick up the cake you ordered, and also a cafe for dessert and coffee, with indoor seating and an outdoor terrace.
Birthdays, anniversaries, and days with nothing particular about them. We shape the design and message you want into a cake that is one of a kind.
Custom cakes are made to order. Tell us the shape, colours and lettering you have in mind through the KakaoTalk channel “서귀피안케이크” (Seogwipean Cake), and we will tell you what is possible and when. We do not take orders by Instagram message (DM).
Once the order is confirmed we agree a pickup date and time. Slots fill up quickly around popular anniversaries and in seasonal-cake periods, so please get in touch well ahead once your date is set.
Lunchbox cakes and mini cakes are ordered through Naver Booking. Lunchbox cakes can also be ordered on the same day, and orders cannot be cancelled on the day of pickup.
The shop is open from 11:00 to 19:00 (until 18:00 on Sundays). Closed days change every month and are posted on Naver Place, so please check that we are open on the day before you visit. The address is 9022 Iljudong-ro, Seogwipo-si, Jeju.
Seogwipean began in 2018 as a single small café in Seogwipo. It has since grown to five places — cafés, a bakery, a lounge and a hotel — but the first shop still stands where it started.
Seogwipean 1st Store is also run directly by Seogwipean Project (SPP). Together with Seogwipean Bakery and Lounge, Hotel Seogwipean and Boraed Bakers, all five places are run by the same Seogwipean Project.
The shop is on Iljudong-ro in central Seogwipo. It sits on the route between Soesokkak and Jungmun Saekdal Beach, and the Seogwipo coast, with Seopseom and Munseom islands offshore, is not far away, so it is easy to stop by while travelling around Seogwipo.

Busy anniversary periods and seasonal cake runs can close early, so please ask with time to spare.
